Singapore

Night Life on the Street

  

RFL partners with an NGO stationed in the heart of Geylang, Singapore’s international red light district.  This organization works to rescue victims of trafficking off the streets, offering hope through a safe house, practical assistance, and counseling.  Since 2010, our teams have traveled to Singapore to assist in these efforts. Click here to learn more.

India

Initiative One: Rescuing children out of human trafficking, and helping the castaways of society 

Hope Restored

   

   

For the past two decades, one of our partner organizations in India has been rescuing children and teens from the sex trade and forced child soldiering throughout Southeast Asia.  This organization provides the loving arms of healing through restoration efforts and has plans for a future compound for housing and rehabilitation.  At great personal risk and cost, our partners have successfully rescued, housed and helped to rehabilitate many children, giving them hope and a renewed chance at life! In another region, RFL partners with those who help the castaways of society in the garbage dumps and forgotten places. We have been forever changed by our connection with these selfless and courageous leaders, and the resilient children themselves.

Initiative Two: Children’s Center and Mercy Ministry

  

We are the sole support for a children’s home in Rajahmundry, India, where destitute children and orphans are provided a family atmosphere, education, spiritual encouragement, and practical necessities. These children are being rescued from poverty and an uncertain future, and are now positioned to become contributors and leaders in society. We visit, encourage and support the Emmanuel Leper Colony in Rajahmundry, as well as minister to the poor in outlying villages through visits and pastors conferences.

Ghana

Not Forgotten

As an extension of Frontline Ministries International, RFL is actively developing 22 acres of land in Northern Ghana. We are working with our long-term ministry partners to transform this land into a community center for the impoverished people of Northern Ghana. A fresh water well is now in operation for the entire community, we have a guard house and a building for accommodations, and a large pavilion has been constructed as a worship center. Child trafficking in Northern Ghana is a harsh reality. RFL plans to build a community center and a children’s home on the land to provide a safe haven for victims of trafficking. Cambodia

Hope on the Street

RFL has traveled to Cambodia to support and work on the streets with a nonprofit organization that has a home for both trafficked and vulnerable children in Phnom Penh.

Brazil

Changed Lives

  

We are working in some of Sao Paulo’s largest slum areas to reach children who are vulnerable to sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and drug related violence. (In Brazil, slums are known as favelas, and are more appropriately termed as communities.)  We have a center in the heart of the community  which serves as a safe place for these children to receive encouragement, counseling, and practical help.  Ines Nunes, director of Frontline Ministries International Brazil, works with us to see these children and their families leave the cycles of violence and encounter hope. We have worked with Iris Global since 2003 to minister to children and adults, both those living in children’s homes and those living on the streets, in the city garbage dumps, and in very remote and impoverished areas. FMI also partners with Pastor Jose Novela of Iris Global in the Linha da Frente project and Sunshine Iris Soccer Academy, which aim to bring transformation to Mozambique through micro-enterprise and youth development opportunities.
